Feeding
All boarders, canine and feline, are fed iVet dry pet products. The product line includes Canine Maintenance, Puppy, Reduced Fat, and Lamb-n-Rice. The iVet Healthy Gourmet Canine Formulas contains no chicken or poultry by-products, providing better digestibility, no allergy causing wheat formula, and no soybeans substituting protein. iVet Healthy Gourmet Formulas utilize Chicken Fat which is the same quality grade used in human foods. This helps give the food the great taste dogs love. It also provides the essential fatty acids that are a necessary component of canine nutrition. iVet has guaranteed high levels of Omega-6 and Omega-3 Fatty Acids for excellent skin and hair coat conditions. Feeding of a prescription food or special diet is available upon request at no extra charge.
Medicating
If your pet requires medication, including injections, we can administer them at no additional cost. It is also policy of Law's Country Kennel not to use tranquilizers unless they are a part of your pet's provided prescription authorized by your veterinarian.
Medical Requirements
For the protection of all boarded animals, Law's Country Kennel requires proof of your pet's vaccination records. Be sure to ask your vet which shots are necessary, and before boarding, either fax us a copy of current shot records or present them upon arrival.
Our Canine Friends Need:
- DHPP: distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus (1 yr. or 3 yr. Vaccine)
- Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr. Vaccine)
- *Bordatella: helps the prevention of canine cough (1 yr. or 6 mo. Vaccine)
*Is not required but highly recommended.
Our Feline Friends Need:
- Feline Distemper, Calici, Rhinotracheitis (yearly vaccines)
- Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr. Vaccine)
