Spacious Accommodations, Outdoor Play & Nature Walks
At Law’s Country Kennel, we believe your dog deserves more than just a place to sleep. Unlike the smaller crates and enclosures commonly found at some boarding facilities and veterinary clinics, our spacious kennel runs provide each guest with their own indoor and outdoor living areas. Dogs have access to their adjoining outdoor runs throughout most of the day, allowing them to enjoy fresh air, stretch their legs, and relax in a comfortable environment.
To make their stay even more enjoyable, we offer two highly recommended activities: Yard Play and Nature Walks. Both provide valuable opportunities for exercise, enrichment, personal attention, and socialization, helping dogs adjust to their surroundings and enjoy their time away from home.
Yard Play – Exercise, Socialization & Fun!
Our Yard Play sessions give dogs approximately 10–15 minutes of supervised time in our outdoor play areas. Depending on their temperament and compatibility, guests may socialize and play with other dogs or enjoy individual attention from our caring team members.
These sessions provide opportunities to burn off energy, explore their surroundings, interact with our staff, and enjoy an additional potty break. Yard Play is a wonderful way to help dogs become more comfortable with our facility and develop positive relationships during their stay.
Nature Walks – A Peaceful Escape!
For dogs who enjoy exploring, our Nature Walks offer a refreshing change of scenery and some quieter time away from the activity of the kennel.
Each 10–15 minute leashed walk takes your dog beyond the main facility, through open fields, alongside wooded trails, or around our scenic three-acre lake. Walks may be enjoyed individually with a team member or alongside another compatible boarding guest.
Nature Walks provide exercise, mental stimulation, opportunities to sniff and explore, and valuable one-on-one interaction with our team. They’re especially beneficial for dogs who appreciate a calmer, more relaxed experience.
A More Enjoyable Boarding Experience
While every dog has different needs and preferences, we highly recommend including Yard Play, Nature Walks, or both in your pet’s reservation—particularly during longer stays.
These activities do more than provide exercise. They help create a familiar routine, build confidence, encourage healthy interaction, and make your dog’s time with us more engaging and rewarding.
